No account, no sign-up
Localada does not ask you to create an account, and it never asks for your name or your email address. This is true both in the mobile app and on localada.com. Everything — the map, the stops, the audio guides, the walking route and the partner discounts — is open from the moment you arrive.
What we do collect
A random identifier that is created on your device or in your browser. It is not linked to your name, your email address or any other personal detail, because we hold none of those. It lets us count how many people visited a place rather than how many times one person opened the page.
Your approximate location, only while Localada is open, to work out which of our cities you are in, show your position on the map and tell you which stop is nearest. Localada never tracks your location in the background, and it works fully if you refuse location access.
Which stops you opened, which audio guides you played and which partner offers you looked at, so we can tell our partner hotels and venues how their guests used the guide.
The language and city you chose, and a hotel or partner code if you arrived through one, so the hotel that referred you is credited.
We do not send you marketing. We cannot: we have no way to reach you.

When you save a journey card, the app writes that image to your device photo library. It only adds images; it never reads your photos.
